Re: Academic vs. Administrative

The Office of SPonsored Programs at the College of Charleston is under a
Vice President for Research who reports to the Sr. VP for Academic Affairs.
The Grants Accounting Office is in the Controller's Office under the Sr. VP
for Business Affairs. Separate reporting lines provide a check and balance,
but it is critical that the sponsored programs people and accountants have a
very good working relationship.
