The 100 to 1 likelihood of not getting a return on patent application
costs and maintaining foreign filing rights while you are marketing,
trying to market, deciding not to pursue, etc. make it a costly deal.
If you have something to sell have the licensee bear the filing and
maintenance costs against royal credit. Unless of course you have
investment capital to burn.
