I, for one, would NOT be in favor of a chat/forum. The important strength of
the listserv is that members do not have to plan YET ONE MORE MEETING to go
to. Asynchronous communications are very valuable in that way. The obvious
problem for those who did not participate on any given week is that they would
miss the "traffic." I think that would tend to subvert the whole concept.
