Gustavus Adolphus College, a selective liberal-arts college of 2,300
students, seeks a Grants Management and Research Associate to provide
administrative and specialized research support to the Director of
Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations. Responsibilities include
grants management, prospect research, institutional research, records
management and proposal and report preparation.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and two years
related experience, preferably in a liberal-arts setting. She/he will be
self-motivated, able to function independently and in a team-oriented
environment, and will possess strong written and oral communication skills,
and experience with computers, including the understanding of word
processing, spreadsheet and data-base programs. Experience with federal
grants management, familiarity with online and Internet research resources,
and demonstrated information management skills are preferred.
