I posted a message to the list a few days ago and now have received
several replies generated by automatic answering protocols.  No offense,
but I'm really not interested in who on this list is on vacation or not
available, etc, etc.

I understand the usefulness of such automatic responses for direct
correspondence, but it will become a pain to the other listserve
participants.  Suggest that people using these protocols set their lists
to NO MAIL while they're away.

Liz -- any comment from you?
