Re: Government shut down Charlie Tardivo 15 Nov 1995 11:16 EST

We will continue to spend on the programs already awarded. We will separate
the cash process from the award process even if it means we have to float
the government a non-interest bearing loan.

With the government shut down, I'd like to get some feedback on what other
Universities are doing concerning spending. I tried to draw down some
funds
from Dept. of Ed. yesterday and got a recording that funds were unavailable
during the shut down. I haven't tried yet today to draw down from other
agencies, so I don't know who else is freezing their funds. My quess would
be
that they all are. What is happening on your campuses?
