Does anyone have a feel for what sanctions might be applied to educational
institutions by federal agencies due to violations of agency regulations on
financial conflict of interest?  I.e., if one of our PI's was found to be
in a financial conflict situation unbeknownst to us, or if a conflict
management plan approved by our disclosure review committee were ruled during
audit to be insufficient -- any idea what our penalities might be?

Just want to be prepared for the worst!  Thanks for any and all thoughts.
