Region II is following the example of Region VII, and asking our veteran
members to volunteer to be a "buddy" for a new member at the National Meeting.
We are hoping to have buddies who will 1)contact the new member prior to the
meeting 2) arrange to meet him/her at the meeting and 3) perhaps have lunch or
coffee with that person some time during the conference.
Our Region has a tradition of hospitality.  Please think about volunteering to
help us with this effort.  We are looking forward to welcoming our new members
in this very direct way.
