The Office of Research & Graduate Studies at the University of
 California, Irvine is in the process of strengthening our
 education/training and compliance program relating primarily to human
 subject research.  I would appreciate feedback from other institutions
 on their programs, including any or all of the following:

 1.  descriptions of your overall program and/or how your program was
 developed; alternative models you may have considered when
 establishing your program;

 2.  specific job descriptions for compliance and/or training officers;

 3.  responsibilities of PIs, department/division chairs, IRBs, and
 central staff or others;

 4.  successes and pitfalls you have encountered in administering your
 program.
