Postponement of the Release of the FY96 NRICGP Program
Description.

Due to budget uncertainties as a result of the recent House budget
process, the publication of the FY 1996 National Research Initiative
Competitive Grants Program (NRICGP) Program Description has been
postponed.

It is anticipated that the Program Description will be released
sometime this fall after further Congressional action. The Senate is
due to act on the NRICGP budget in September; it is unknown at this
time when any conference action might occur.  It is  possible that
deadlines for some or all NRICGP programs will be later than they
were in FY 1995.

Please call the NRICGP at (202) 401-5022 with any questions
regarding this announcement.
