We at UNLV have not heard anything...however, it was
 announced by NEH at a meeting at the OFP conference in D.C.
 yesterday that NEH was cutting its budget by 40%.  They were
 supposed to be putting out a press release yesterday on the
 internet but I have not seen it yet.  The release was
 supposed to say what programs were being cut.

 We too would like to know if this rumor is true about the
 summer stipend program.
