By State of Connecticut law the "author" of copyrightable materials
owns the right to copyright. The University can, however, enter into
a contract that grants this right to a third party, which we don't do
without the written consent of the author. Connecticut law does not
address the issue of royalties to the author on copyrights. For the
most part, the University does not get involved in copyright issues
unless specifically addressed in a sponsored agreement.
