We too received an award from Cap Cure.  From what I can gather from the
PI, this foundation solicits a proposal from an institution.  Most
of the submission process continues to be a mystery to me.  This was one
of those applications submitted without institutional review and approval.

I am aware that funding can only be awarded to non-profit organizations and
it is exempt from indirect costs.  This wording is in the award letter.
