I received a note last week that the new GPG and the Proposal Forms Kit are
now available in ASCII and MSWord for Windows.  Any proposals submitted on
or after October 1 will need to use the new GPG.

I have (successfully!) converted the MSWord forms to WordPerfect 6.1 for
Windows.  The file is available on UM's anonymous ftp server at:

 ftphost.umt.edu/user/fred/NSF/GrantProposalGuide/NSF9528.WP

I printed them without any difficulty and called NSF to confirm that use of
these forms created in WP would be acceptable.  (Even with these safeguards,
let me clearly state that use of the WP forms is done at your own risk!)
