Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine has extended the
deadline for the position of Director of Grants Programs and
announced the availability of Grants Program Administrator position.
As I previously noted: these positions report to the College dean and
all proposals are processed through the central Office of Research &
Sponsored Programs. The College of Osteopathic Medicine has an
outstanding reputation for training primary care physicians for
service in a variety of settings with special emphasis on rural
and/or underserved communities.
Deadline Extended:
DIRECTOR OF GRANTS PROGRAMS: $45,000-$50,000 plus excellent benefits.
Available immediately following search.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in health field or education
required; master's degree preferred. Three to five years in medical
education program planning, development and implementation required.
Experience in policy analysis and monitoring multi-year grants
essential. Knowledge of long-range fiscal planning and federal/state
health laws and regulations required.
Responsibilities: Analyzes College programs and identifies funding
sources. Plans, writes and submits proposals. Assures that all
administrative requirements of funding agencies are met. Supervises
grants staff.

GRANTS PROGRAMS ADMINISTRATOR: $33,000-$36,000 plus excellent

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in health field or administration
required. Minimum three years in health program planning required.
Demonstrated ability in grants proposal writing critical.
Responsibilities: Review requests for proposals (from staff/faculty),
writes proposals, maintains grant and contract files
and meets administrative requirements of the funding agencies.
