Re: SCIENTIFIC MISCONDUCT POLICIES

Hello Everyone --
This past academic year, all three major national funding councils in
Canada (The Tricouncil) made "Research Integrity Policies" mandatory
if an institution was to receive funding. These are now in place at
most Canadian Universities. Of course, there are variations between
policies and procedures dependent upon the individual needs of the
institution. It may be worthwhile to review policies from
institutions with similar scopes to your own.
Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

As Ian Stone wrote earlier, at the University of New Hampshire we will
also be revising our policy on scientific misconduct. I would most
appreciate any copies of other such policies.
