I've always said research managers are the nicest people in the world.  I
now have proof.  Thanks to all of you, known and unknown to me, who pointed
out that my message regarding a job listing had gone to the whole
listserv and were worried that it might cause me problems here.  Not to
worry - my supervisor knows I am looking and the reasons for my leaving
Alaska (none of which concern my position here) and has even volunteered
to assist me through her own contacts.  The messages to warn me were so
plentiful, and so thoughtful, I felt I should  set your minds at rest.
Thanks to all of you.

That particular message got through to the list because of a system
glitch here.  However, I also sent another message to both the originator
of a request for SF424's and to the list volunteering to make software
templates available to those who can use them.  With the problems on our
LAN this afternoon, and because I don't have the list echo
activated, I don't know whether that message went to the list as intended.
(In fact, I don't know if or where this message will go but my LAN
manager is here hoping to diagnose our problems with a real live test.)

I do have SF424 forms available in MSWord for Windows 6.0 but only
for  use with an HP Laserjet printer.  I will make them available via
anonymous ftp to all who would like them.
