For those who don't want to be bothered learning the html codes, there
are free processors available (especially, but not restricted to the
INTEL x86 family of PCs) that will do the job for you.  One such is
Hot Metal.  I don't have the address of an ftp site handy, but you can
easily find one by doing a search on Archie.
