Reminders - Vacation season
Elizabeth A. Mazzella 18 Jul 1995 08:05 EST
Dan Snyder has suggested that I post a reminder on how to temporarily
suspend mail from RESADM-L if you will be going away on vacation.
To suspend your mail, send the following command to
xxxxxx@HEALTH.STATE.NY.US
SET RESADM-L nomail
To re-start your mail upon return send the command
SET RESADM-L mail
Remember, the commands should be in an email message with no subject line
they must be sent to the LISTSERV NOT TO RESADM-L!
Also, remember, RESADM-L is now on the internet at
xxxxxx@health.state.ny.us
The bitnet address will be going away in the near future so take note
of the new address. Those of you who previously had to use
gateways and the like to get to RESADM-L from the internet will no longer
have to do so.
Thanks for the suggesion Dan -- very timely as I am finding quite a
few error messages due to filled email boxes bouncing RESADM-L mail.
Remember, three errors and you're taken off the list (of course you
can resubscribe once you empty your box and are ready to take mail
again.) If you go on vacation suspend your mail!
