Does anyone know of published PHS or HHS guidelines on the the rate at
which consultants may be paid?  NSF says $289 a day.  One of our PIs
wanted to write consulting fees of $1500 a day into an application
to the CDC.  We dissuaded him, but it wasn't easy.
