If a proposal is rejected or not acted upon by the agency, and the PI
revises and resubmits, we regard the proposal as a new one and as such, it
receives full review. When the agency requests a revision to a pending
proposal, or the PI finds it necessary to send a revision, we do not treat
it as a new proposal, but we do require review, especially of the budget,
and we require institutional approval of the revision.
