Why don't we try and collect some basic data to compare the
databases? We could look at price, platforms, quality of
information, timeliness of information, service, etc.
I would suggest that we come up with a scheme where by we could
include factors that would be relevant for different types of
institutions and try a few different types of searches (e.g. a search
for a engineer looking for equipment and a search for a humanist
looking for travel money).
What do you think? Please suggest things to review or sample
searches. Volunteers? If we broke it up it wouldn't take too much time.
