Hi Nancy---

The amount of indirect costs we recover is not large enough to use for
matching funds, but the amount that we do retain is used to fund our
internal grant program and a travel assistance program, as well as
general operating funds for the office.  We also consider special
requests such as publication subvention and other travel.  Other than the
internal grants program and the travel assistance program, there is no
set policy for the remainder.  We are also considering allocating a portion
to the division and/or PI, although nothing has been decided yet.
