Thanks to James Beall for participating in this group.

From Mr. Beall's description of the Hatch Act, it sounds like the lobbying
certification we must all sign.  I looked at that and it refers to Section
1352, Title 32 of U. S. Code.  Is this code the Hatch Act?

If it is one and the same, then I have never heard of getting assurances from
individuals to support the lobbying cert.

Is what Gail is experiencing a fluke from overworked, sun-deprived auditors
OR
should we all be collecting assurances from anyone paid via Federal funds?
