I agree with Len...waiver from whom?  Permission from whom?  There was
a very interesting article in IRB-A Review of Human Subjects Research,
Sept.-Oct. 1993  on this issue.  It pertained to "deferred consent" which
OPRR does not recognize.  It's worth reading.  If you don't have a copy I'll
fax one.
