We don't offer extra credit that I know of, but research participation is a req
requirement (there is also the option of reviewing research literature and writ
-ing a paper......As a matter of fact the catalogue was recently changed to rel
flect such in the courses where needed.   so the students know up front what th
e options are ...the coercion element is eliminated or at least reuced.... I
 will check if research participation is available for extra credit.please let
me know what else you find
