I am interested in knowing the policy of your institutions with respect
to the investigators' use of their discretionary funds:  Do you expect
PI's to expend all their discretionary funds to cover bridging funds when
they have a gap (hopefully temporary) in funding for a long-term program
or are "bridging" funds generally available from your institution?
