Marquette University will soon institute yearly personnel evaluations
for administrators. Our Office of Research and Sponsored Programs has
developed office-wide goals and objectives for next year in anticipation
of this change in our contracts. However, we find that many of our
objectives are achieved as a team effort rather than individually.

We would appreciate any advice and assistance from those of you who
do personal performance evaluations for research administrators and
staff. Marquette's Office is run by an Associate Dean of the Graduate
School and is staffed by three Assistant Directors - Information
Services, Project Development, and Fiscal Administration, two proposal
writers, a budget analyst, and a secretary.
