I could use some quick help on the subject of academic year overload/
additional compensation payments to faculty.  We have a policy that
does not allow such payments for research (in keeping with A-21), but does
allow for "public service" payments.  The former Provost was quite flexible in
these definitions, the new Provost less so.  Can anyone give me some advice on
this?  Thanks.
