The issue is whether institutions accept the approval of "foreign" IRBs, i.e.,
IRBs that are not affiliated with the institution, for projects conducted at
that institution. The rationale is that "foreign" IRBs can do the job faster.
Question:
Are there any academic medical centers on this list who own a hospital,
or outpatient clinical facility, and have a substantial load of
pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials conducted in those facilities,
that accept the review and approval of "foreign" IRBs for work conducted
at that medical center?
Please respond only if the answer is yes. THNX
