.... the SRA Resource Guide, which first came out about 3
years ago. The Guide is an annotated bibliography of print
and electronic resources in sponsored programs.... If you
have identified a new product that you would like to see
included in the updated Guide, would you please let me
know?
As the Guide is updated and refreshed it will become an
increasingly valuable tool to those of us with limited funds
for purchasing these kinds of materials.
I'd appreciate your help.

The Guide sounds WONDERFUL. Have you included
anything about the Chronicle's data base??? I had the
opportunity to catch a glimpse of it yesterday. It documents
foundation and corporation awards which are announced in
both the Chronicle of Higher Education and the Chronicle
of Philanthropy. I certainly wouldn't rush right out to buy it,
but I know many who were debating.
Right now there are 17,7?? references listed in the data
base. The software looks and operates much the same as
dialog's grants data base and you get bimonthly updates.
The updates are current records which the user appends to
the data base. Records don't disappear until the user
deletes them which would allow you to build a substantial
resource?? over time.
I found it to be an "interesting" complement to our other
data bases and directories but wouldn't consider it a "must
have."
