I checked my log of subscribers deleted and found the following:
<xxxxxx@OSP.EMORY.EDU>
<xxxxxx@OSP.EMORY.EDU>
<xxxxxx@OSP.EMORY.EDU>
multiple errors 1/17/95- all deleted from list.
All messages sent to the emory server were being bounced (obviously a
server problem) so, I deleted all users -- my three strikes you're
out policy -- unfortunately, there is no way to notify people of these
deletions because the notification would also bounce.
As I am sure you can understand, three people generating an error for
every posting from RESADM-L generates a lot of error messages in my
mail box. If you go more than a week without getting mail, chances
are you have been bounced. One way to check is to send the REVIEW resadm-L
command to xxxxxx@ALBNYDH2.BITNET. This will send you back a list of
all subscribers alphabetical by the text following the @ symbol in the
address -- you can see if you are still on the list. If not, resubscribe.
I am copying this to the list, as I think it is a good item for all to be
aware of.
Thanks.
