I am interested in finding out how other institutions handle payment of
subcontract invoices.

* Are your terms "net 30 days"?
* Do you honor a subcontractor's invoice irrespective of funds received from
 your prime contractor?
* Do your subcontract terms specify that payment to the subcontractor
 is contingent on receipt of payment from your prime contractor?

We are reviewing our policy on payment terms for subcontractors and would
appreciate any input.
