At The Research Foundation of SUNY at Stony Brook, we are interested
in how different institutions handle the establishment,
the expenditures, and the close-out of their institutional NRSAs.

Institutional NRSAs seem to be very unique creatures.  The
complexities found in monitoring the fellows' appointments, the
training related expenses, the stipend/tuition fees, etc...makes this
one of the most difficult grants to administrate.  We have
established a system where each award year carries two
established internal accounts.  Although this helps the project
directors in tracking their expenditures and appointments, it has the
possibility of causing many reporting problems.
