Re Julie Cole's post.  Gopher to stis.nsf.gov for the latest NSF Policy
Manual where these issues are covered.  Shouldn't be too much of an issue
unless it's really exotic equipment.  NSF normally passes title to the
institution.  The bigger problem - as noted in the post - is the likely
wrestling match among participants as to who gets the equipment.  We just
has such a situation and redeployed the computers involved to a different
department.  It always helps to be able to quote NSF chapter and verse
if there's a conflict over who gets what.
