Two questions: in disposing of equipment purchased under an expired NSF
grant, co-funded with other external funds, are there any compelling
questions that should be addressed, i.e., notification of source, etc.
The grant is several years past its expiration date.

Also, in the transfer of a PI to another institution, where other
investigators using the equipment remain at the original institution,
what are the guidelines for the equipment? Purchase was also partially
supported by matching funds.
