The University of Central Florida in Orlando has a separate
Research Foundation which receives "gifts/bequests" from
charitable foundations and organizations as well as revenue from
the sale of UCF license plates through the Fl Department of Motor
Vehicles. The Foundation is separate from the University.

The Division of Sponsored Research is administered under a Vice
President of Research and Graduate Studies and in our case, we
administer not only the types of contracts and grants you
described but also some Fellowships and Scholarships with
coordination with Financial Aid for actual payment of stipends,
etc. We administered $32million in contracts and grants last
year.  Sponsored Research also is responsible for subcontracts
placed under grant and contract awards and Small Business
Utilization reporting.
