Michigan offers many kinds of staff development classes through its Human
Resources Development department. A series of classses are devoted to grants
and contracts including: Financial Admin. of Federal Grants, Overview of
Federal Guidelines for Cost Recovery, Grant Seeking and the Funding World,
Proposal Writing, Processing Grant and Contract Material, and others dealing
with specific aspects of administration such as: timekeeping and personnel,
purchasing, travel regulations, etc. These classes are open to all university
staff members. Some have a small charge.
