Greetings,

One thread that I picked up in the conversation about reporting lines for a
grants office is that it is a BAD IDEA to combine the functions of a
grants office and a development office.

I wonder if anybody out there might care to elaborate on this idea.
On the face of it, it would appear to offer some advantages, especially
for smaller institutions.
