Carnegie Mellon University is comtemplating depreciating movable
equipment for cost recovery on a room by room basic.  Our current
methodology is by dept.

Please respond to the following question:
Is your institution currently depreciating on a room basis?  If so, what
was your former methodology?  Were there any specific problems
associated with the change?

Also, if you are planning to make a change to room by room depreciation,
please respond as well.
