Thankfully, the Office of Research Services at the University of
Missouri-Rolla answers to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.  I
agree with Spanky, it would seem too many conflicts would be present if we
were to report to the Administrative side.  We already have enough trouble
trying to keep research dollars where they belong.
