FYI to all interested parties:
 Has anyone out there on the network experienced the most recent try by
the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG) to reduce Indirect Cost
recoveries and force a cap of 12%,unless the institution is willing to
waive IDC.  For those involved in ECOG, a letter was sent dated 9/8/94
to PI's about this.  The letter also cites"most adult cooperative
groups use capitation methods...to support their institutions.  There
are no indirect awards offered with capitation funds"  And the tooth
fairy is Santa's kid!!!  Be prepared for this since the agreements
were due to be mailed to the Business Office by 9/15/94.
