I just received from NSF the CAREER announcement (NSF 94-4 replacing NSF 91-10)
. The announcement spans all directorates, lists deadlines for all the director
ates, and directs technical questions to the listing in the announcement or tha
t in the GPG. There is no indication anywhere that directorate specific announc
ements or guidelines will be published. Biological sciences; Geosciences; Socia
l, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences; and Office of Polar Programs will use sta
ndard disciplinary program deadlines. Computer & Information Science & Engineer
ing; Education and Human Resources; Engineering; and Mathematical & Physical Sc
iences have a deadline of October 17, 1994.
