Duquesne University would like to know how other universities and colleges
deal with the following (always sensitive) questions about indirect cost sharing
1.  Is an amount equal to some percentage of the indirect cost on a grant (esp.
on a federal grant) returned to the P.I. or the P.I.'s department or broader
academic unit (e.g., college)?

2.  If so, are there restrictions placed on what that money can be used for?
