With regard to internal funds in support of research, UMAB has a number of
programs which are awarded and administered within separate schools, we are
aware of them, but do not have the details.  The VP for Research has a small
allocation of funds received from the State to support research activities,
and graduate research assistantships.  With regard to application submissions
during the FY 93-94 year, UMAB submitted 1529 proposals, received 987 awards &
received $103,058,825.  Hope this helps.
