Thanks to all of you who responded to my request for the gopher
internet address for the Library of Congress-- marvel.loc.gov worked
like a charm and I found what I needed after hitting several large
potholes on the information highway.

A special thanks to Sherry Nassar for compiling that handy list
of gopher and listserv addresses from home while recuperating from
an auto accident!  Above and beyond the call of duty.
