 A problem here is that it's written into TWO people
 jobs-- teh Exec. VP signs anything that's a contract, the
 Dean of the Grad School any proposal.  Slows me down.  I
 offered to sign at least the proposals, since i fi
 screwup they'd have an attractive target to fire, but no
 these two folks are control freaks and it is something to
 do wiht their day/
