Has anyone heard if NIH plans to adopt a "just-in-time" approach to grant
application submission?  Under this approach, the applicants would initially
submit just the research proposal and would wait until they are recommended
for funding before sending in most of the boilerplate forms (biosketch,
other support, detailed budget, etc.).  One of our investigators is a peer
reviewer for NIH and he heard  this may be a reality as soon as this Fall.
