I'd be interested in knowing how institutions which report on
contracts and grants awards handle the issue of incremental
funding (I believe this is more common on contracts than grants
or cooperative agreements).  Since the notification of award
always says that further funding is contingent on availability,
do your institutions treat the increment as the award amount?
Or, do you treat the negotiated amount as the award and, if it is
subsequently de-scoped, process the change as a "negative" award?
