The University of Saskatchewan is seeking information on policies or advice
that other institutions may have on employee ownership (e.g., ownership of
shares) in companies that spin-off from the institution. It is our
understanding that some American institutions promote/encourage such
ownership positions.
What policies are in place re: incentives to do so and conflicts of
interest that may arise from such ownership positions?
